The Beholder
The artwork for my new novel was created by graphic designer extraordinaire Ian Clarke. Ian has been a good friend of mine for over 20 years and a great graphic designer for even longer than that. His artwork captures the key themes of the novel perfectly;
- the skull in the desert by the border fence suggests both the murderous intentions of my title character and the desperate nature of illegal immigration into America
- while the title itself is rendered in neon lighting to convey the seedy side of America’s sex industry, where much of the novel is set.
Ian has done a fantastic job and I’m eternally grateful to him. Looks like the next round is on me!
